The effect of art words on 11 cheaper BP models (10 credits to 25 credits as of May 2026)
Ok, you're a little short of credits but you still want to make images and want them to show a little art style. The best thing you can do is test a few of the cheaper ones to see which ones does your art style. I am going to demonstrate a very short prompt and a few short one- or two-word art style with each.
The prompts:
Basic: a man and a woman dancing in the rain
Inkpunk: inkpunk, a man and a woman dancing in the rain
Watercolor: watercolor, a man and a woman dancing in the rain
Impasto: impasto, a man and a woman dancing in the rain

Other models to mention that I did not run
I maxed out on the number of images I can present in a blog so these are other models to mention that I had no space for
Wan 2.2 (25 credits as of 5/8/2026) : an older model. Did a good watercolor. One impasto was like a regular photo but one was like two 3d figurines with an impast background.
Flux Dev (25 credits as of 5/8/2026) : Flux 2 Dev is also 25 credits and a later model so only did Flux 2 Dev
Lucid Original Standard (18 credits as of 5/8/2026): I did not run this as I already knew I did not have image space. It's an older model but interesting because it has a bunch of preset styles you can choose from.
Conclusion
As you can see, while prices are similar, models can vary a lot in how they display art styles

Your welcome. Thank you for visiting. I was talking with someone who used a cheap model and he said the art styles didn't work. So I thought it might be helpful for folks on a credit budget to see which ones worked. I was rather surprised myself which ones did what.
