BP Blogging: Creating Jump Links Recently BP aded a new capability in blogging. Jump Links! Yay! This is very useful for Table of Contents and Appendixes. Here's how to do it. First go to the blog area that you want people to jump to Make a H1 or H2 header line. It will make a bigger text so this often serves as the title of that section. Highlight the text Pop-up menu will float above the text Click on H1 or H2 When you do that, the H1 or H2 word(s) is automatically added to the bottom of the post editing section. Go to the bottom of the post until you see " Section Anchors ". I usually click just to the right or left of the blog so I'm no longer in the editing space. Control+End to drop to the bottom quickly. You'll see "Tags" and "Meta Description." Scroll up until you see "Section Anchors" Click on the "copy" button next to the word you want to jump to Go to the place where you want people to jump from like a Table of Contents Highlight the word(s) you want to be the jump link A little menu will pop up above the word. Click on the link icon on the right side Paste in the link. I will often Bold the linked word too. That's it! You're done. The jump link does not work in edit mode. When you publish, you will see an underlined word and the jump link will work. I hope that's helpful. If you have any questions about jump links, just put it into the comments below. I am also adding this as a section in this blog later Easy tutorial on creating a BP Blog Ifyou have any other questions about BP blogging, please put it in the comments on the Easy Tutorial page.
