Can you integrate web info into an AI image?

Can an AI image model pull information from the web to incorporate into your image? Let's run some tests! Test 1: Current temperature, date, time, weater Test 2: Current news item Test 3: Recipe with directions Test 1: Current temperature, date and time, weather: Flux 2 Pro wins So let's experiment, shall we? The word I've successfully used to pull info from the web in a prompt is "integrate" The easiest way to check on accurate and up-to-date information is asking for something you can check. Temperature, date and time come to mind. And so does news stories. Here's my test prompt: show a claymation model version of Washington D. C., USA, most iconic buildings. Integrate and display the current temperature and date and time I did this test now 3/3/26 at what would be Washington DC 2:11pm time Flux 2 Pro result Time is correct. Checking with google, google said DC temperature right now is 40F and it's cloudy Weather Underground ( https://www.wunderground.com/weather/us/dc/washington ) & AccuWeather ( https://www.accuweather.com/en/us/washington/20006/current-weather/327659 ) reported the temperature at 36F and cloudy. So the temperature falls within an accurate variance probably depending on where the temperature is being measured in the city I also did not identify which iconic buildings to show in the image but the AI choice of iconic buildings seem well-chosen. And yes, I understand they are not in their places relative to each other but I did not ask for a map, just the buildings. So I'm giving Flux 2 Pro an A+ for up-to-date temp, date, time and weather I tried other models but they all failed. I am showing the failures at the bottom of the post. The models that failed are : Grok, MiniMax Image, P-image, Z-image turbo, Lucid Origin Standard, Ideogram v3 balanced, HIDream I1 Fast, Wan 2.6, Nano Banana, Nano Banana 2, SeeDream 4.5, and GPT 1.5 medium Ok, so only Flux 2 Pro succeeded. It doesn't mean some of the others might not work but they may need a different trigger word. Test 2: Current News: SAG-AFTRA March 2026 motion picture award: Flux 2 Pro So my next test was to see if an AI image model can accurately pull the news. Since only Flux 2 Pro succeeded on date, time, temp & weather, I only tried Flux 2 Pro. Here is my prompt: " Integrate and display the winning for Outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture at Actor Awards presented by SAG-AFTRA awarded in March 2026. Show the real life location of the winning motion picture as the background." Notice I did not name the movie or the movie location. Flux 2 Pro succeeded again. Since the others had failed earlier, I did not use credits testing them again. Test 3: Recipe: Various models We don't always want up-to-date info. I noticed on the failed test that the dates were wrong so the problem maybe it can do fresh info but maybe old info? Some information is stable over time like a recipe. So let's see how that goes. FYI: any of the models that could do a recipe correctly can also pull things like a word definition which has less text. For this test, I choose to ask for a 3-ingredient peanut butter cookie recipe. The problem is going to be text as well as info as many models can't handle too much text. Here's my prompt: "Create a book open to show two pages. On the left page show a delicious plate of peanut butter cookie. Integrate a simple 3-ingredient peanut butter cookie recipe into the book. Below the peanut butter cookie picture on the left page, place the title "Simple Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe” in large bold text, then the serving amount (medium text) and calories per serving (medium text) and below that place the list of recipe ingredients (medium text). On the right page, place the recipe instructions (medium text)." Many models were successful at putting in the text for the recipe and the recipe looked good for the most part. The problem was spelling. In this case Flux 2 Pro could not handle all the text. The info was ok but #4 and #5 steps are gibberish I tried again with Flux 2 Max in case a higher level Flux 2 could handle the text. Flux 2 Max did better but there were still spelling errors or missing words. This was the best of 3 attempts and it was missing a word "golden" at the end of step 5. SeeDream 4.5 good on text but it took 3 tries to get both pages showing; and once it showed chocolate chips instead of a peanut butter cookies. Maybe I should update the prompt but since I already ran it Flux, I'll keep going with the same prompt for the sake of the experiment. This one came out pretty good Nano Banana couldn't quite pull it off. I did several attempts but each one had spelling errors. This is the best of several. Nana Banana 2 did pull it off. No spelling errors that I could see. Looked great. GPT 1.5 Low almost made it but even after a few tries, there would be some mispelled or missing words. So I tried with GPT 1.5 Medium and it came out good. Interestingly GPT was the only one that had less than one cup of sugar and the calories reflected the lower amount of sugar. Grok also came out good Be careful! Ingredients mistakes can be Big! 3 Cups of Chili Paste --- No!!!! I did this udon soup experiment on a different platform. Be very careful with putting AI recipe images anywhere without double checking the ingredients and directions. I did a test on spicy kimchi udon soup recipe and instead of 3 teaspoons or even 3 tablespoons of hot chili paste, it said 3 cups of Korean Chili Paste. OMG! That's a huge error and would have made the soup inedible. So recipe mistakes can be huge. Still it's fun seeing if you can pull in a recipe without typing everything up. These models failed on the recipe book. The format and image looked good but the spelling was gobbly-gook: HIDream I1 Fast, Ideogram v3 balanced, Ideogram v3 Quality, Lucid Origin Standard, Lucid Origin Ultra, MiniMax Image 01, P-Image Failure Images for Temperature, Time, Date, Weather You'll notice they were able to show a building or more, some did the claymation style requested. Some gave no date, time or temperature. Some gave a fake date, time and temperature. Grok P-Image Z image turbo Minimax Lucid original standard Ideogram v3 balance Hidream-i1-fast Wan 2.6 SeeDream 4.5 Nano Banana Nano Banana 2 GPT image 1.5 Medium End of my experiment What do you think?
