About this image

A dreamlike watercolor fantasy scene featuring a graceful dancer in a luminous, iridescent dress, performing atop a blue-hued landscape. A contented tabby cat plays the flute while cherry blossoms flutter in a pink-and-blue sky, creating a serene, magical mood with celestial sparks and distant pagodas.

@DavidP Thank you, DavidP. I used "pale cyanotype" to get the blue. I think the pink showed up because I said "cherry blossoms". The running left figure is cool. What is interesting is the Kannon figure on the left. I can't control for seed here. But in this one with the kanji 笛 which is shakuhachi, the wooden flute, she shows up but not when I only use the english word "shakuhachi". That happened in NC too and odds are very high it was a different seed. Somehow the AI is making a connection between 笛 and Kannon, a buddha for compassion aka Goddess of Mercy.

I don't know much Japanese, well actually only one thing and that is the word 'kaizen'. When hunting for images for a work presentation I found a medallion style of the kanjii symbols for the word. And to my delight the literal translation is 'whipping yourself better' so much better than the western translation 'continuous improvement'

Pretty, like the sky and shift from the warm colouring at the top to the cooler at the bottom. And the dress and pose. Interesting figure tunning up frmthe left side

Yeah, but Latin is a lot more useful in day to day life especially if you like to read. It's handy for figuring out the meaning of new words

That is cool. A bit like Egyptian hieroglyphs. Most of my similar knowledge is derived from 5 years of high school latin- not nearly as arty as kanjii 😀

Lovely image! Soft, delicate and so much to look at 😍

I did not know that about kaizen. That is cool. I love the etymology of words. Sometimes their original meaning is very picturesque. Kanji is cool because it is actually the picture of a word. LIke "ei" is 英 and it means England. See the man with the hat. 英国人 means British person so you have the guy with the hat, the middle character means country, and the last character means person. That last character is the body and two legs walking. I wasn't able to learn Japanese when I taught there but I remembered some of the kanji because I'm a visual person and it was easier. Two bad each of the kanji would have 2-4 sounds associated with them depending on what they were combined with. They also have 2-4 meanings associated with them so no help in learning the language. But I liked them.
