One thing I feel strongly, Elections belong to the people and not to the biggest wallet. I was very happy at seeing good old Uncle Sam surfing the Blue tsunami, especially in states like Texas where billionaires were trying to buy the election. Don't get me wrong. I'd love to be a billionaire. I feel some of the best initiatives and good has been done by wealthy folks and foundations. I've worked for nonprofits in the past and some people have made huge differences and improved the lives of a lot of folks. Money is not evil, or the root of evil. The problem lies in when people try to increase their power at the cost of other people's freedoms. Nothing good comes of that. USA elections aren't done as every vote needs to be counted and there will be some battles over counts yet to come. But so far this midelection has been a pleasure.

Musk spent more than ALL left-leaning donors combined... and yet the voters rejected his hatred and bigotry and racism and yes, Naziism (don't let anyone gaslight you into thinking Musk isn't a Nazi -- he is, in fact, the world's richest Nazi!) because, at the end of the day, the average American is suffering under the Orange Tyrant, and no amount of billionaire $$$ spent on ads is going to change that.

Great images, Cayla! Especially the second one, with the Tesla car getting washed away. And yes, it was such a relief to see that even Musk (who all by himself spent almost half a billion $$$ on Republicans in the midterms alone) couldn't convince the people to swallow even more Far Right Fascism than they'd already endured during the first two years of Trump's reign of terror.

Heh, great images! (As far as your elections, of course the whole planet pays attention, the US being the most powerful country - so it is by definiton a regulator of world affairs.
