Lyrics: Biker Girl

I was servin' tables in a diner Out on Highway 51, And I couldn't rightly tell you If I'd ever had much fun. I was dodgin' ass-slaps from the truckers, Scrapin' grease off the flat-top grill, When on a Friday like any other You swaggered up to the till. Oh, I'd pushed that feelin' way, way down Where nobody could see, Then you took my hand, took my heart, And set me runnin' free. Whoa! Hear that engine roarin', Whoa! See that tail pipe glow, Baby, you got me goin' Where I never thought I'd go. Yeah, I'm ridin' right behind you, Holdin' on real tight, Leavin' the cotton fields behind us, And it feels so right! So the diner went all quiet, Just the hum of the electric light, 'Cause girls like you are kinda rare round here Sittin' astride a motorbike. But you strolled right through that hostile hush Still lookin' me in the eye, And with a wicked little twinkle said, "I'd like a bite of your cherry pie.” They can call me a sinner, Call me a girl gone wrong, But I don't care what people say I'm gonna sing my own song. Whoa! Hear that engine roarin', Whoa! See that tail pipe glow, Baby, you got me goin' Where I never thought I'd go. Yeah, I'm ridin' right behind you, Holdin' on real tight, Leavin' the cotton fields behind us, And it feels so right! Now, I knew that I was blushin', And I reckon you knew why. You said, “Honey, there's a big old world out there, Just waitin' for you and I.” Well, I gazed into your peepers, I heard myself say, “Okay.” Then I told my boss, “I'm leavin', And I'm leavin' right away.” You got oil stains on your blue jeans, You're wearin' nothin' beneath your tee, With one hand on the throttle, And the other hand on my knee. Yeah, I can feel that motor hummin', It sends shivers down my spine. Lord, she gets me all fired up, That biker girl of mine! Oh, I'd tucked that feelin' way, way down Where nobody could see, But you took my hand, took my heart, Yeah, you set me runnin' free. Whoa! Hear that engine roarin'! Whoa! See that tailpipe glow! Baby, you got me goin' Where I never thought I'd go! Yeah, I'm ridin' right behind you, Holdin' on real tight, Leavin' the cotton fields behind us, And it feels so right! Whoa! Baby don't go slow now! Baby, go as fast as you like! 'Cause I'm tastin' sweet freedom, Sat on your motorbike. Yeah, I'm ridin' right behind you, Holdin' on real tight, Leavin' the cotton fields behind us, And it feels so right! Oh Lord Almighty... That girl sure knows how to satisfy!

About this song

You getting into these now. I'm still not really drawn to creating songs

    Nice song - love it

I've always wished I was musical... so it's been enjoyable creating songs that are beyond my actual capabilities! I've been using Suno, not BP's music generator. And I guess it's also an alternative way of telling a story ☺️

Oh and as I hear it again, I thinking it reminds me a little of Beth Hart, performing live with Joe Bonamassa. Do love Beth Hart

Agree with all you say there. It my own mindset, not a comment on the AI capability.

I'm really pleased you like it...and thank you sooo much for the generous gift! 🎶🎸🎶
