Lyrics: Annie & The Witch

The setting sun was sinking low, Slipping slowly behind the trees When Annie went into the forest, Brambles scratching at her knees. She went in search of magic, The kind of magic that witches make, To free her from a wicked curse, And she had until daybreak Deeper and deeper in she went, Till she came across a gloomy hut, Made out of cake and gingerbread With its doors and windows shut. Now, Annie had read all the stories, And witches never came out well, But time was quickly running out And she needed a witch's spell. So with her heart beating wildly, Annie knocked twice on the door, And soon she heard a tapping sound Of footsteps on the floor. Then with a creaking of old hinges The door slowly opened wide. And Annie's heart did a double flip At what she saw inside. Oh... beware what the witch might do, Beware what the witch might say. That girl needs a spell to break the curse, But what price will she have to pay! Now, Annie was expecting A crone with wrinkles and frightful hair. But the witch who stood before her Made Annie stop and stare. With tresses as black as a raven And a smile that promised sin, She said, "Sweetness, don't just stand there. Aren't you coming in?" The witch's voice was warm and silky As she took hold of Annie's arm. And even as she told her tale, Annie was falling for her charms. "So you wish me to make magic? Lift your curse and set you free? Well, I'll do this," whispered the witch, "If you spend the night with me." Oh, beware what the witch might do, Beware what the witch might say. She'll lift your curse by morning light If you willingly obey. With a wink she now murmured "I've got a big bed and a wand, Plus a couple of tricks up my sleeve Of which I'm rather fond." Well, Annie wasn't frightened, In fact she trembled with delight. She said, "I agree to what you're asking. Yes, I'm yours tonight." Next morning when Annie awoke The sun was shining bright, And the witch said, "Your curse is now lifted. Babe, are you feeling all right?" Well, Annie grinned from ear to ear, Pulling her close once more. "Teach me another lesson," she said, "And show me what that broomstick's for!" Oh, beware what the witch might do, Beware what the witch might say. She gave an ultimatum... And Annie chose to stay.

How shall I put this? I guess eating human flesh is just as pleasing if you do it…metaphorically, rather than literally.😏
