Thank you so much — it really means a lot to me that someone like you took the time to listen to my track. New Order’s “Blue Monday” is such an iconic song of its era. My version is meant as both an homage and a piece that follows the challenge theme, and even the cover image is a little nod to that, haha. For the lyrics, I tried to keep that breakup anger but turn it into something a bit more positive and forward-looking.

@To4kawa I think you succeeded in making it more positive and forwardlooking. It is a fun song.

@To4kawa Wow! Totally different vibes. Yours sounds more pop, clean vocals, and more optimistic. It's a breakup song and they are angry but they are walking away to find someone better I think. The original song; the voice is not as important as the background sound I think, but they also sound like the person in the song is angry and depressed. Very different vibe. I like your version better because I like cleaner, clear vocals but also the vibe too. It's really interesting to me how different the same song can sound.

Yay! thank you! I love the vibe of the song. And she looks like she's dancing to the sound. In the Challenge blog post, I've added you under Blue (on Sunday), I put up both links to this post and to the song post too as they are both BP. Thanks for joining!
