With Music 2.5+, instrumentals are now possible, so I gave it a try. I also tried putting the song progression into the prompt, but I still feel like I haven’t quite gotten the hang of it yet.

About this song
This mellow atmospheric country track captures the rugged, laid-back spirit of Texas cowboys set against a hazy dusk open range landscape, leaning into warm traditional western country instrumentation that evokes quiet end-of-day calm.

Thanks! Looking at MiniMax’s page, it seems they already have plans for things like V3, and it looks like their prompt interpretation has improved as well, so it definitely seems worth experimenting with.
I check what you make once in a while. I'm thinking you're busy in RL or on Suno. I just wanted to say hi. Your instrumental is lovely.

Do you remember how much Music-2.5 cost in credits? I thought it was 40 credits, right?
