Catwalk: Walking in the Unimaginable Darkness on Monday I made the background image that I used in this image-to-image 2/17/2026. Prompt is an excerpt by Lovecraft: "Out of the unimaginable blackness beyond the gangrenous glare of that cold flame, out of the Tartarean leagues through which that oily river rolled uncanny, unheard, and unsuspected. There flopped rhythmically a horde of tame, trained, hybrid winged things that no sound eye could ever wholly grasp, or sound brain ever wholly remember. I have seen the dark universe yawning, Where the black planets roll without aim; Where they roll in their horror unheeded, without knowledge or lustre or name. About this image

This dynamic dark fantasy digital artwork pairs cute stylized anthropomorphic animal protagonists against a menacing storm-wracked battlefield. A white cat in pink holds a steampunk energy weapon while a gray rabbit in purple carries a glowing sci-fi scanner, advancing as swarms of tentacled flying beasts loom overhead under crackling lightning. The mood balances whimsical charm with tense high-stakes adventure, rendered in rich muted dark green and gray tones accented by bright glowing blue and green effects.

you can always suggest a place. I usually go with suggestions. Tomorrow is Amityville suggested earlier. Today I went with one of my old images because someone said a prior post made from a Lovecraft excerpt was scary. I had made several on the same day months ago with the same quote so decided to show one of the more "scary" ones from the same quote. But I'm perfectly happy visiting a lovely or enchanted places if you want to suggest it. I started the spooky as I did a few Halloween type walks and it's caught on and kept getting suggestions. Since I don't watch horror movies, I've been having to do a bit more research than usual.

You'll have to make do with mu Big Cousin's Crew. Me and the Bard are into Olympic sports, right now. I'm not kidding you, take a look at the Bard's page, right now...

laughing, thank you! Could be worse. You and the Bard could be here. I'd take the EZ crew tho. They'd be a lot of help right about now.

"These explorations are getting more and more stressful!" "Yeah, I miss those wonderful strolls where could just look around and take pictures..." 😎

sure I'll do that for this one. I've never done Dreamland so that should be an interesting challenge
