Interesting...I usually don't have much trouble getting Asian-looking characters from AI. I guess it may have to do with the contextual info in the prompt. A background setting that does not scream "Asian" may leave AI a little slower to catch on. In comparison, I typically start a prompt with something like "Shanghai, 1942."
