I wrote this one to chase a style, and the target was the watercolor itself: colors bleeding into each other, a few edges that stay crisp, a ginger cat in a gray cable-knit sweater holding a vase of flowers on a windowsill. Look at how each version handles that balance. Some let the bleeding take over until the cat goes soft, others keep the figure tight and the background flat. The ones that work keep the muzzle and paws readable while the dark background still reads as wet paint.
