Velvet by name. Tempest by nature. #20 out of 53 entries Looks like I should have gone with my copy paste of the challenge description like half of the top 10. At least I'm happy with my image and will eventually share on X.
Entry in the Thunder Drummer challenge.
About this image
This dramatic dark fantasy artwork depicts a tattooed gothic woman with wild windswept black hair playing a custom black drum kit emblazoned with the text "Velvet Tempest" in an overgrown field of withered dark red and purple roses. The brooding atmospheric scene unfolds during a thunderstorm

Love the creativity in a cemetery and not on a rooftop like many others! I voted for it once, but another time went with another who showed a stronger thunder/lightning vibe.
Its typical that people copy the challenge description and roll it in GPT / Grok / Seedream. That’s why many entries look similar. Like the idea of the cemetery.

I kinda thought it might but wasn't sure. Still happy I went this direction even if the other would have landed me in the top 10.

Thanks! Appreciate you keeping me even 😂 I did toy with adding more storm and rain but ultimately, this version was one and done.

Loved your image, great drums, outfit and the crow. Hope you never succumb to just going with the description - I love your creativity
As I said in your other post, I really liked this image. I really thought it would do well.

I liked this one a lot, started hearing this in my head the moment I saw it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lx58hXh4pVA

I understand, I put in limited effort to set myself up to have limited expectations 🤣

Thank you! Haven't heard that song in quite a while!
