The ceremony was going perfectly… until the cat noticed you. #27 out of 61 entries I think I need to go back to entries that don't look like my own. Last time I made top 20, it was with an image people didn't think was mine.

Make an image like this

Entry in the Secret Society challenge.

About this image

This atmospheric dark fantasy scene features an ornately robed celestial high priestess holding a lunar staff, standing behind her black cat familiar on a floor etched with glowing golden magical sigils. Masked hooded coven members flank the priestess inside a vaulted candle-lit gothic temple, deep purple and rich gold tones creating a foreboding, mystical mood of dark occult ritual.

Honestly, about ready to throw in the towel again. The only thing that keeps me creating these is I sometimes like my image enough to use it again. I figured purple, celestial and cats was me (all my witch posts have cats in addition to many others though that is certainly not all I do). Sorry I'm venting. You just happened to be the one to comment.

No worries. I am thinking if I should break from challenges too. I want to spend time participating more in the themes and creating my own works. I probably overlooked those signs of yours, especially the purple which looked black on my mobile, but maybe I am the minority which didn't recognise.

I'm hoping to spark some creativity but I'm struggling myself. I did just post a hat theme mainly because I just created some for a QT on X. Might think on the other slot for a day or two and see what is already out there in other clans.

I hear you. I'm still struggling to balance here, X and insanely busy days at work. I used to look forward to challenge results. Now I know early on my image is bombing. I need to come up with a couple themes for my clan.

How about a take 2 of your more popular themes - pink/red, smoke... Or start a different color...

But I didn't recognise this was yours either 😅 I don't remember you posting much about cats.

That is a nice theme. Will try and find time to contribute.
