Day 35 When I first started AI art it was to have images to accompany my haiku on cactus_haiku. Naturally sometimes the prompt was just the haiku. So I thought I'd do that today, to see how it went. Promptshare (emojitext. 66 char): pearly white harpy step by step, no flying here mountain pilgrimage 1. GPT2 Low 2. Recraft v4 3. Nano Banana 2 Lite 4. SeeDream 5 Pro 5. Flux 2 Pro 6. Grok Note on the models. I ran more models but quite a few returned a white eagle like Grok and SeeDream I was really impressed with what GPT2 Low did. It was pretty cool.

About this image

This cinematic 6-panel fantasy art sequence follows a mythical pearlescent white harpy through the stages of her spiritual mountain pilgrimage, from receiving the call of the peaks, climbing ancient stone staircases, weathering self-doubt, leaving an offering at a remote high-altitude shrine, and finally finding quiet belonging. The atmospheric, realistic fantasy artwork uses soft cool muted tones, dramatic misty alpine landscapes, and detailed creature design to tell a quiet narrative of personal growth and spiritual ascent.

This dramatic high fantasy digital artwork depicts a majestic white griffin, a mythical hybrid beast with an eagle's head and scaled raptor legs, striding across a slippery rock-strewn mountain pass in a torrential rain storm. Muted cool gray tones, driving rain, and fog-shrouded jagged mountain peaks create a somber, powerful mood emphasizing the creature's quiet dominance over the harsh wild landscape. This atmospheric fantasy illustration evokes classic mythical worldbuilding and epic creature design.

This hyperrealistic fantasy concept art features an anthropomorphic aarakocra pilgrim with white eagle features, feathered wings, and travel robes standing on a rocky high-altitude Himalayan hiking trail lined with colorful Buddhist prayer flags. Soft golden dawn light spills over mist-shrouded snow-capped mountain peaks, with a remote cliffside Tibetan monastery visible in the forested valley distance, creating a serene, mystical adventurous atmosphere. The detailed scene uses warm earthy cream and gold tones contrasted with cool hazy blue mountain hues, perfect for TTRPG worldbuilding and mythical wanderer themes.

I meant that were less mutant mistakes. I don't know why I didn't give up on AI art. Back then I had to generate several times just to get a semidecent image. We still get them but not as often. I had to regenerate a few images because the harpy/bird ended up with 3 legs for some reason or the wings felt weird. But it was nowhere as bad as before. And when you think of doing just a haiku as a prompt and not all the additive stuff to fix a prompt back the, prompting with only a haiku was hard. Now it's wonderful. It's a lovely surprise to see what comes up. Because you don't need the extra words like you used to; no they are additive to create style, not tnecessary o eliminate mutancy

Thank you!. I actually like 6 too because of the iridescent feathers. There were other models that did white birds but this was the most beautiful

When you say better, in what way? I assume simply creative images that reflect the essence of the haiku. I find haiku so interesting.

My favorites are 2 and 5; I like number 6 too—even though the bird isn't humanoid, it's very beautiful.

The first is quite amazing, assume that was GPT

  • @DavidP ·

So interesting to observe how the models respond

  • @CaylaCatz ·

yeah, it was GPT2 Low. I listed the models when I put them up as they were so different. And even when I reran it, GPT did it again so it wasn't a fluke. It doesn't generally do that for my haiku so I think it's this specific haiku's meaning that triggered it

  • @CaylaCatz ·

Yeah, and it's amazing how much better it is now at haiku. When I was doing them 2-3 years ago, it was extremely hit or miss but then again there was some very artistic effects that I don't see now. I wonder if I could redo those
