Tea with Alice and the Cheshire Cat Special Guests: Odysseus and the ghosts of the seer Tiresias and the hero Achilles

About this image

This whimsical cozy fantasy webcomic by Cayla Catz depicts a sunlit tea party on a Mediterranean coastal terrace, featuring a top hat-wearing Cheshire Cat, steampunk elven adventurer, mythic Greek hero, and ghostly ancient figures swapping tales of adventure. Warm painterly jewel and earth tones create a gentle, uplifting mood, with dialogue centered on timeless connection, shared stories, and the joy of good company over tea. The comic closes with the heartfelt tagline: "Wonder is timeless. Stories connect us. Tea helps."

how did you make this? Where? Did you use budgetpixel? How much was manual editing and how much was AI?

Yay! I'm glad I got the seal of approval from my Greek friend. Odysseus is a rich ore to mine for stories.

I use GPT 2. The start of hte prompt is "Make a comicbook page..." . I did a blog that explains various ways you can choose to make the comic book: starting from scratch, with a reference image, with reference characters, etc. https://budgetpixel.com/blog/using-gpt-2-to-make-a-comic-book-page .
