  Don't mind comment overkill 😀 --- I guess there should be fun and enjoyment in all the challenge participation. Personally I stopped the one-word challenges, just too random for me. But I do enjoy MeMay's three-word challenges and (of course) @paulie twenty-word challenges

  Before I started doing the 1word/3word/tautogram challenges, I felt like my vocab was slowly dwindling. The funny thngs is that as I find new words to use, words are starting to randomly pop into my brain that I hadn't used or seen in a long time. I found out the words aren't forgotten but needed to be retriggered. Somehow using new words triggers old words too. So I've already won whether I win or lose the challenge. Winning is immaterial to me. I try to score high on people using uncommon words so I get more of them. Brain exercise is one of the things they recommend to stave off forgetfulness and Alzheimer's.
