About this image

This distressed sepia-toned retro book cover illustrates a fictional 1911 Andean expedition discovering a crashed alien spacecraft and a large dead tentacled extraterrestrial in a rocky high mountain landscape. The design uses aged worn paper styling to evoke vintage pulp adventure and unexplained mystery. It leans into ufology, lost expedition lore, and weird historical fiction aesthetics.
