So I'm going to pull a double here: QT & prompt share. First I'm joining @sealine's QT Alien Abduction. https://budgetpixel.com/p/57481 2nd is on X I'm doing a daily prompt share but I'm limited by X free account's 280 character and that includes the prompt, the definition, and the 4 model names. Two things make an extremely short prompt possible: A. -punk words in the prompt delivers setting & clothes pretty well with one word B. Newer models use their patternfinding ability to fill in the blanks Since my prompt is so short due to X's limitations, if you use it, add words but not with prompt magic. Prompt magic usually doesn't do well with -punk words. I'm hoping you add details or swap words out and use the prompt to build on, make it more yours and not merely copy. Prompt as is for all 6 images: **Classic 1950s raypunk scifi comicbook cover. UFO abducting by beaming up a fearless steampunk pirate redhead from her airship** 1. Nano Banana 2 Lite 2. GPT 2 Low 3. Ideogram v4 4. Wan 2.7 5. Kling v3 6. Recraft v4 The two best pretty regularly for this is Nano Banana 2 Lite and GPT 2 Low. Nano Banana 2 Lite is so good, I might start testing it on comic book pages too as GPT 2 seems to be slowing down on generations. I did more models but they either couldn't spell or had no words. To be fair Kling v3 and Recraft v4 have no words but I thought they were pretty cool so they made it in. **note on text for titles and such**: I didn't add any text for titles, etc as it's an extremely short prompt. The text was generated by the AI based on my asking for a "comicbook cover". If you want to add text, be specific as to where and what like comicbook title, tagline, episode/story title. If you don't specify where, it will put it where it wants. If you don't say whether it's a tagline or story title, you might find the tagline has become the story title or even the comicbook title. For example: Across the top put the comicbook title: "Spectacular Space Stories"

About this image

This distressed retro comic book cover for the fictional 1956 title *Amazing Worlds of Adventure* features a swashbuckling steampunk pirate queen being pulled upward in a glowing alien tractor beam from a hovering flying saucer. Classic golden age pulp art styling uses bold linework, saturated deep teal and warm brown tones, and dramatic composition, with a steampunk airship crew, futuristic alien city skyline, starry night sky, and mountain peaks filling the background. The worn, aged print texture leans into nostalgic midcentury sci-fi pulp aesthetics, highlighting a whimsical, high-stakes tale of space adventure and cosmic danger.

This retro golden age science fiction comic cover is for issue 7 of *Amazing Tales of Space Adventures*, dated May 1952, rendered in classic vibrant pulp illustration style. The dynamic artwork shows a red-haired female space pirate being pulled upward by a glowing green tractor beam from a metallic flying saucer, abducted mid-flight away from her detailed brass steampunk airship floating in a cloudy blue sky. Bold retro comic typography teases a complete star pirate novelette and additional raypunk adventure stories, leaning into iconic 1950s space adventure trop

This is a vivid 1954 Golden Age pulp comic book cover for *Sky Raiders* Issue #27, titled "The Beam From Beyond!". The bold halftone illustrated artwork depicts a classic flying saucer hovering above a red-sailed steampunk pirate airship, trapping swashbuckling lead Captain Rosemary Vane in a glowing alien tractor beam while her crew reacts in panic. Bright saturated blue backgrounds, bold yellow and red title typography, and dramatic storm cloud details evoke the classic retro sci-fi adventure aesthetic of 1950s B-movie and pulp fantasy media.

Yeah, between emojis and -punk, I'm getting really good at compact models. I'm also beginning to wonder if some of the often used prompt words like "highly detailed" that we used to have to add is being baked in by the later models because they do better than you'd expect even with one word prompts

Yeah, I'm very impressed too. I've been having a delay in my GPT2 gens -- they say rate limited? And I've heard on X some people couldn't gen because GPT was down for a bit. So I'm crossing my fingers NB lite is just as good. So far I've been pleased. Thank you for the award.

  • @CaylaCatz ·

lol, I'm glad you like it. Steampunk and raypunk is like peanut butter and jelly, lol. Thank you for the award!

These came out awesome! Great concept! I'm impressed with Nano Banana 2 Lite. Going to have to give that model a try.

  • @Sealine ·

GPT is running for me this morning but it is taking a while on both sites I'm on.

  • @CaylaCatz ·

It might just be too popular. I'm not surprised if there's a huge demand for it

  • @piper_rosa_13 ·

Great covers, it would be great to get their paper versions in my collection!

  • @JMN ·

These turned out really good for such a compact prompt, #2 & 5 were my faves.

  • @legion ·

They're all very good, but the ones I like best are 1 and 2.

  • @banguash ·

Loving this retro-style comics cover; and its very convincing too
