Tea with Alice and the Cheshire Cat Special Guests: Tomcat Murr and E.T.A. Hoffmann.

Entry in the The Love of Felines! theme.

About this image

This moody, ornate Surreal Saturdays issue blends Alice in Wonderland lore and literary fantasy with a rich steampunk gothic aesthetic, deep warm brown, purple and glowing gold color palette. The scene depicts the group debating dreams, madness and the absurd while seated at a table, with a floating airship clockwork city skyline in the moonlit background. The tone is whimsical, thoughtful and delightfully uncanny, with detailed vintage comic panel art.

Oh, the dialogue in this one is perfect!!! AND the visuals! (BtW. you can blot out those irritating rogue speech bubble tails in windows image browser. Legion told me about it and it is very simple)
