About this image

This cozy illustrated webcomic by Cayla Catz follows a dapper teal Cheshire Cat and group of Victorian intellectuals as they discuss the nature of reality, cosmic mysteries, and unknown intelligences over an elegant tea spread. The art uses rich warm jewel tones, detailed vintage library decor, and soft golden lamplight, blending whimsical Alice in Wonderland charm with thoughtful speculative philosophy. The mood is quiet, curious, and conversational, with detailed character design and a warm antique atmosphere.

The different dimensions are strictly separated from one another so as not to interfere, yet here and there one may find some stretch marks that create unexpected connections... nothing is perfect! At times I wonder what those two (Alice and Chessie) do for a living (they probably live off their investments)... 😎

Great one. Didn't know about her or 'Clained' The plot brings to mind Algernon Blackwood's classic tales 'The Willows' (1907) and 'The Wendigo" (1910)

will try but I'm behind on library books and bp blogs so won't be soon. I might just have the GBB go visit

Laughing. That's a good question about how they make a living. Maybe Chessie is a cat burglar

  • @panos ·

I guess it may have been the first. Read them both, Cayla... they are excellent!

  • @antares ·

And Alice, too—with that sweet, angelic face of hers—is probably his worthy accomplice! 😎

  • @CaylaCatz ·

Wow! I didn't know there was a story about the Wendigo that long ago

  • @CaylaCatz ·

laughing. Better start locking up your houses
