tvm 🤣 tried to avopid being Viggo-esque but not totally succesful - or maybe Viggo was just so well cast that he matched Tolkien's description of Aragorn 🤣

Of course I voted for this excellent LotR image. Congrats on top 20. Excellent idea to use the styles of the most famous artists who gave us an enduring visula on how that world looked before the movies. (Of course, Lee and Nasmith were hired as consultants for the movies) I have to say though, that the Hildenbrant image doesn'r look like their stlye to me. I cab't sau I have much familiarity with their work. My mind goes instantly on their covers for Terry Brooks 'Shannara" series which I had, when I hear their name, Perhaps they were not their definitive style.

tvm. I guess LoTR was not the most original idea but thought leaning into the book rather than the film was interesting. As for Hildebrandt - I did no style-check on their actual style so no idea how authentic it is. Just liked it 🤣

yaw. As far as LotR is concerned, I totally don't care for originality 😃. I wiil check some Hildebrants galleries to refresh myself on their look.
