Elderly wizard uses a magnifying glass to examine a tiny fantasy city…

About this image

An elderly bearded wizard leans over his cluttered alchemist workbench, peering through a brass magnifying glass at an incredibly detailed miniature fantasy kingdom sealed inside a large glass bottle. Warm candlelight bathes the scene, highlighting antique leather grimoires, hand drawn astrological maps, brass instruments, and glowing crystals scattered across the wooden desk. The mood is whimsical and magical, with rich deep blues, burnished gold, and soft warm sunlit tones from the glowing miniature city inside the bottle.

tvm - maybe a sexy sorceress would have made the diffeence for top 20 🤣

Very cool—I voted for this one; I remember the "Da Vinci" entry. This time, I thought everything would just be bottles of varying quality, so I decided to do something different again, and it didn't turn out too badly—I placed 4th.

tvm. Appreciate it but not sure why you are surprised. It is par for my course, I have a knack of not entering what is popular 🤣

lol there was probably a record low in regards to cleavage showing up in the top entries; so that a win I guess😂 [for a DC about bottles, no less 🙄~sigh~]

WOW!!! This is fantastic, David!!! Unfortunately it didn't come up for me. Certainly should have been at leat in top 20 (but there WAS heavy competition today)

tvm. Quite normal for me. I think there was a similar idea in the top 20, biggest difference being the wizard was replaced with a hot-looking sorceress.

I'm baffled by your placement with this one. Such beautiful detail and a whole story in the scene. Should have been Top 10 imo.

tvm That's kind but I'm not suprised. I tend mostly to finish in the middle even when others think the image deserved better

yaw. Having the opportunity to once again look at it, I am even more enchanted by its beauty.

This is so awesome! I'm really surprised you didn't score higher
