Secret Society - 34/61, 47.9%, 45W 49L --- **The Clockwork Grip of the Secret Order of Eternal Timekeepers** --- A secret society of masters who covertly control global events through a massive, hidden network of mechanical clockwork engines. Set inside a grand, mahogany-lined private library, two high-ranking members execute their highly specialized secret handshake. Rather than a simple grip, they interlock custom-crafted brass gear-rings worn on their thumbs, their cogs meshing together perfectly with a subtle, mechanical click. Surrounded by ancient astronomical charts, ticking astrolabes, and massive moving wall gears, this illustration explores a world where history isn't shaped by chance—but wound, calibrated, and ticked forward by a select few behind closed doors.

About this image
This moody, richly detailed steampunk scene shows two learned 19th century gentlemen clasping hands in a secret academic library. Gilded brass decor, all-seeing eye banners, leather bound antique tomes and scientific instruments fill the dim warm space, with an open astrological grimoire spread across the foreground desk. Flickering candle glow contrasts deep dark wood and emerald tones for a dramatic, immersive dark academia atmosphere.

I voted for this even though I did not quite understood what it meant. I thought the "handshake" was a secret code among them when plotting some agenda.

Great one! It atrracted me immediately and voted for it. Like @beastxyz I thought the 'handshake' was a special fomr of one lke the freemasons had to recognize one another. I love that it is something mych more SF / Fantasy!
