Bald blue-skinned anime character shouts "Everything is blue" standing on an all-blue suburban street
This comedic surreal meme illustration uses a cohesive all-blue color palette, rendered in a textured retro anime art style. A bald blue-skinned character throws his arms wide in disbelief, standing between a weathered blue residential porch and a glossy vintage blue Corvette, soft blue fog curling through the scene. The "Everything is blue" text overlay leans into the popular absurd internet meme format, with atmospheric cool lighting and painterly brushwork.

Eiffel 65 and their 1999 hit "Blue (Da Ba Dee)"

rayraysrevenge

So many bad pop culture jokes some to mind.

Sealine, I just watched the first part of the video and also felt I knew the piano melody but have no memory of the lyrics, never saw the video in '99. Gemini tells me it is an Eiffel original but has been sampled by many. And of course even original lines can be influenced by other music that came before. No doubt it is a really catchy riff --- @southamericanmyth

DavidP

Ah, that explains it. I would have no way of hearing such a hit in '99. By then I was a little more cutoff and listened mostly to albums from my own collection.

Sealine

At first, I thought I'd never heard it but as it got into it, it was familiar. Lyrics aren't though.

I was also a kid and i loved this song because of the videoclip, little blue men in space ships

southamericanmyth

The videoclip was very popular on MTV, awesome CGI animation for that time
