Retro 90s anime style elderly cyborg man wearing VR headset

About this image

This gritty cyberpunk illustration uses classic 1990s cel-shaded anime styling reminiscent of vintage sci-fi anime like Akira, depicting an emaciated elderly cyborg reclining on a rumpled bed. The character wears a bulky VR headset and smokes a lit cigarette, set inside a dilapidated apartment with peeling teal walls, with a window looking out over a hazy futuristic city skyline. The mood is quiet and dystopian, exploring themes of virtual reality escapism, post-human aging, and life in a decaying cyberpunk future.

This gritty 90s-style anime cyberpunk artwork depicts a moody male character seated in a worn, tiled laboratory apartment, holding a handgun while surrounded by medical supplies. The wooden foreground table is covered in prescription pill bottles, loose pills, a handgun, and drinkware, while dangling CRT monitors with glowing green text hang from exposed overhead wiring. Cool muted blue tones and soft, moody lighting create a classic dystopian noir sci-fi atmosphere consistent with vintage cyberpunk anime aesthetics.

This surreal 90s retro anime illustration features a diapered toddler wearing a chunky green knit pom-pom hat, standing inside a metal crib surrounded by a heavily cluttered, dilapidated room. Hanging vintage CRT monitors with glowing green screens line the walls above piles of discarded cans, tangled loose wires, peeling graffiti-covered plaster, and scattered debris strewn across weathered wooden floorboards. The eerie dystopian mood leans into weirdcore and cyberpunk themes, with a muted palette of faded teal, warm wood brown, and worn cool tones that match classic vintage animation styling.
