Guess the photographer! Oh one hint, I try to stay away from modern artists so usually my chosen artists are folks who passed away or produced their work 75 years ago or more. To be fair so you don't get confused, the photographer worked strictly in black and white and did not add any subheadings, just photographic images although there would be a sentence explaining the photograph content. However, I thought the subheadings were cute so I kept them.

About this image

This soft pastel goth sequential comic follows a vintage-style fortune teller with long blue hair and a pink floral hat as she lays out cat-themed tarot cards, before a playful black cat disrupts her organized spread. The warm candlelit occult room uses a muted palette of dusty rose, deep navy and warm gold, leaning into a cozy humorous magical tone. The final panel jokes that even with all the chaos, the magic remains.

Great image, love the sequence. Was that a single prompt? If so amazing. As for the photographer, I have no idea. But as I said to archangeltara yesterday, I can investigate to learn things. Based on that I am guessing: Duane Michals

As I said re the Japanese poetry your base knowledge is well above my pay-grade. My final guess based on digging: Eadweard Muybridge. If not you'll have to tell me. Please tag me if you do.
