this was experimenting with @Sealine prompt she brought over from X and shared. https://budgetpixel.com/p/81881 Basically it creates a page with multiple character images based on your character. She used reference images to give the AI an idea of her and Unleashed's character. So here's my experiments. 1. GPT2.5 Flare. Just the prompt and no reference images. The prompt has TB as a style ref for the character building. I was surprised actually at how much it is like me. "more art, more cats" "stuff in my head". Lol. I have dark hair but Pinkie is a calico, not a black cat. I did add "Cayla Catz" signature to the prompt so my guess is it guessed everything from my name. 2. Grok. I don't know if you all remember the cheerful little kitty that liked to shoot monsters? that's my reference image. Interestingly, GPT2.5 flat out wouldn't do it. I guess cats shooting guns is too violent for GPT? Grok did a nice job tho although it didn't add the text like GPT. 3. GPT 2.5 Sunburst. Here the reference images are my Captain Cayla. As she wears goggles and is on an airship, it gave the AI more info to work with. I added 2 scenes of a roc and a dragon attacking the airship just for added oomph. Here the TB style affected the text with words like "mystery" and "ghost". 4. GPT 2.5 Sunburst. Same ref images as #3 but I replaced the "TB" phrase with "anime". The words changed a bit and they also added a character sketch on the side. 5. GPT 2.5 Sunburst. Same ref images. Here I replaced the "TB character" or the "anime character" word with " fun exaggerated whimsical 1830s–1840s caricature illustration style character". I wasn't sure it would work as it's not a great sentence but it did alright although it's close to the anime vibe. It feels more cartoon than caricature but I'm ok with that. It did add "tea" 6. GPT 2.5 Sunburst. This time: a character in the 19th‑century British caricature tradition using exaggeration, theatrical poses, and comic effect with a rueful

About this image

This charming illustrated collage from artist Cayla Catz features a grid of short, storybook-style comic panels following a big-eyed creative young artist and her beloved black cat. Rendered in a whimsical Tim Burton-esque gothic style with muted, moody tones of deep purple, warm worn brown, and soft moonlit blue, the panels include gentle motivational quotes, cozy bedroom and art studio scenes, and personal checklists celebrating creativity, embracing quirkiness, and pursuing big dreams. The warm, comforting spooky-cute aesthetic is ideal for fans of dark academia, artist life, and cozy goth home decor.

This gothic whimsical character concept sheet features multiple illustrated views of a wide-eyed anthropomorphic white cat character, clad in a tattered dark dress and striped stockings, wielding a dripping, gory pink sci-fi gun. Set against a moody abandoned carnival backdrop with a vintage ferris wheel, ornate carousel, and swirling full moon, the detailed pen sketch art uses a desaturated grayscale palette with dusty pink accents, matching the popular spooky-cute Tim Burton art style. The artist signature for Cayla Catz appears in the bottom right corner of the character reference collection.

This whimsical dark fantasy steampunk scrapbook illustration follows anthropomorphic cat pirate Captain Cayla across a series of sequential story panels, featuring her flying airship, cosmic starry skies, thunderous storm encounters with mythic dragons, and handwritten adventure notes on aged parchment. The detailed, storybook-style art uses warm aged parchment tones paired with deep indigo and violet fantasy sky hues, highlighting Captain Cayla's brass goggles, ornate leather steampunk coat, nautical navigation tools, and whimsical character design. The collage includes quiet celestial hammock scenes and character trait breakdowns, framing the character as a curious, adventurous explorer of magical new worlds.

The one I like best is the second one; she is sad—it’s not the same hunting monsters without our friend Panos.

  • @legion ·

I don't know. I had said two and a half months; I think about two of them—or something like that—must have passed.

  • @Sealine ·

I was thinking it had been about two also and his page agrees. So soon-ish we may see him.

  • @Sealine ·

Speaking of, shouldn't he be back soon?

  • @CaylaCatz ·

@legion yeah, I was thinking the same thing, Sealine. panos should be back soon. If he's been without a computer and only had books, pen and paper with him, I bet there will be an explosion of ideas when he gets back. I'd go into withdrawal without wifi for that long. I agree, legion, poor kitty -- it's not as much fun killing monsters without her big friend

I know! I need to work on the next chapter for mine and his story. I was going to pull together the bits that happened in comments so they are on the blog. Spent a couple of nights ago trying to go back and find the comment bits. Serves me right for procrastinating to the last minute! lol

  • @Sealine ·

Great set! Thanks for breaking down your process for each image!

  • @legion ·

I'm sure he'll be back around here soon.
