Jefferson Airplane's White Rabbit was a great take on Alice in Wonderland. I like this image even tho some of the words came out scrambled.

About this image

This detailed vintage storybook-style artwork blends surreal Alice in Wonderland fantasy imagery with lyrics from the iconic White Rabbit classic rock track. The muted sage green, soft blush pink, and warm earthy palette features Alice at varying sizes alongside beloved Wonderland characters including the hookah-smoking Caterpillar, Red Queen, Dormouse, and white rabbits. The mood is whimsical, nostalgic, and gently psychedelic, matching the tone of the famous song.

Unlike the Beatles, this song does not refer to drugs

  • @CaylaCatz ·

Actually it does. Feed your head was supposed to have a double meaning of feeding your mind iwth books but also with psychedelic drugs like LSD. It was the 60s and Grace Slick wss also experimenting with LSD. Slick wrote the song after a LSD trip while listening to Miles Davis's album Sketches of Spain for 24 hours. But it's not only about drugs. She also saw Alice as a metaphor for her own escape from suburban pre-scripted life as she escaped the 1950s espectations of becoming a housewife by going down the transformative rabbit hole of music.

I agree. It's a wonderful song and can go in so many different directions depending on where your head is at
