My Monday entry Original post that started the quest and rules recap https://budgetpixel.com/p/6585 Chain Mini Challenge Idea. Sequential Week Day Songs for the weekend so Thursday - Sunday. (Yeah, I know, making it a long weekend but I'm testing to see if this will work) A. Make an image inspired by a song with the week day in the title. So Thursday has to have Thursday, Friday has Friday in the title. B. Post it. Title is required on the post that says what song inspired you in the description. Also copy and paste the rules in your description so if anyone wants to join the challenge at any point, they know to link on the day they follow. C. Lyrics or title text printed on the image are optional, not required. D. Prompt can be hidden.

About this image

A watercolor scene showing a lone man sitting in a quiet church pew, hat resting beside him, as morning light filters through arched windows. The front altar features a cross, with an open Bible on a nearby bench, creating a contemplative, devotional mood. Text overlays mention “Monday Morning Church” and “Alan Jackson,” hinting at themes of faith and music.

@mim86 I've also added your name to the challenge end of the round feedback list. No worries, you don't have to give feedback. I just wanted the list to be complete. I'm going to try a challenge again but I think I'll make it simpler. The chain idea overcomplicated things. I'm going to go listen to Alan Jackson now as I hadn't hear this song. Thank you!

@mim86 I know i informed you in discord but I'm also pasting this in everyone's comments as a backup. If you want to join the next song challenge, I've set it up here. I put everyone's name in it that did the last challenge but I don't know if you all were notified. https://budgetpixel.com/blog/song-color-challenge

@mim86 Oh, I just listened to it. So sad. I wondered what happened to her. At first I thought she left and then at the end I found she passed away. The grief in the song is so sad. And I love his voice. First time I've listened to him.

@mim86 You did wonderfully! Composition is good; lighting is lovely. And the juxtaposition between the church and the line "I can hear the devil whisper" sets up an intriguing storyline. So I went to listen to the song to hear the rest of the story.

Thank you again Cayla. I'll keep an eye out. I also found to my dismay, you can't edit the text of a post once you've published it. That's a feature we must have. Oh and once you've heard Alan Jackson, you'll hooked, as I am. https://youtu.be/xlCSjtSNeZI?si=JGbbJ7TNnFvjUwqE

You can edit your post description but not post comments. I wish we could edit comments when we make a typo. That's the video I listened to. So sad but lovely.

@CaylaCatz 🤗thanks again. I'm not usually one to do the art angle with my creations. But this one did feel right and I'm glad I did it.

Very cool! Love the watercolor image. It's great you fund the time to make the Monday image. I've added it to the Monday list https://budgetpixel.com/p/7196 .

@CaylaCatz thank you so much, I really appreciate that. And my apologies for not seeing the DC notice, that app is sometimes a little glitchy for me.

Thank you David. I'm quite taken by it myself... and of course. 😁
