Revised prompt to try improve colour in the hidream version. Better but still not as pleasing as some of the other models

About this image

An oil painting of a elegant red-haired woman in a flowing blue dress with gold lace, sitting at a cafe table and sipping tea. The romantic, Pre-Raphaelite-inspired scene uses warm amber tones, soft focus, and ornate jewelry to evoke vintage 19th-century fashion and refined leisure.

I've noticed that too. Some models like SeeDream have good contrast & vivid colors; others like Flux have a softer low contrast look. The softer look works great with this image as it gives it romantic appeal. She remind me of the women in John William Waterhouse paintings both with the hair & the softer look. That vibe looks lovely in this image. But I want to prompt for that style instead of having it willy nilly. But maybe we should just consider it as we get to know models -- like this model is better at abc and that model is better at xyz so we use the model that has a bias towards the style we want to do. Like choosing watercolor or oils when we paint. The image has an interesting anachronistic thing going. The dress, the hair, the romantic painting style all suggest a time more than a hundred years ago while the coffee cup, table, diner seats is very modern. It suggests a story to me. Like maybe she's a theater actress having a cup of coffee before heading off to do a performanc

Love and appreciate your thoughtful comments, Cayla - you are right about the models. And if I were more organised I would keep notes about models - good point about the anachronistic nature. Love that you imagined more about the woman from the image 😍

  • @CaylaCatz ·

@DavidP Yeah, I should keep notes too. But they do change and grow fast enough that by the time we know what they do, newer models will be out and things will have evolved. It's ever onward ho!

  • @DavidP ·

@CaylaCatz That's a good point. So might as well carry on with more a trial-and-error approach. Suits me- I am THE world's worst note-taker 🤣

she is like "again this dude is late"

  • @DavidP ·

And would you be late? I wouldn't 😀 - Thanks
