About this image

This dramatic romantic fine art painting depicts a passionate ballroom waltz, as a man in a formal military dress uniform holds his partner in a deep dip, her long dark hair sweeping dynamically as she wears a flowing floor-length red evening gown. The scene unfolds in an opulent columned grand ballroom lit by glowing tiered crystal chandeliers, warm golden light casting rich reflections across the polished marble floor as formally dressed gala guests line the room to watch the performance. Rich warm tones and painterly detail evoke a sweeping, cinematic atmosphere of vintage high society romance and elegant formal celebration

This dramatic retro-futuristic science fiction book cover promotes Robert A. Heinlein's classic novel *The Number of the Beast*, depicting a sleek glass-topped emerald spacecraft carrying four passengers soaring through a glowing purple and blue spiral galaxy. The composition contrasts cool deep space tones with warm fiery orange apocalyptic landscape details of a university campus below, rendered in a rich, detailed pulp fantasy art style. Ornate gilded gold serif typography prominently displays the author name and book title for a timeless, eye-catching sci-fi design.

And now I am thinking Iron Maiden and the intro to their classic song

Revelation 13:18 - This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.

But he has written so many. And I have only read three: Stranger in a Strange Land, Friday and Starship Troopers

  • @DavidP ·

It is sad, guess that's what happens to all but the most enduring of authors, irrespective of quality

  • @DavidP ·

Guess that is how it goes over time

  • @panos ·

Yes, he has. And i have read some more than you have - apart from Griday, but the sad fact is that - as we have discussed, now you can't find them anywhere . I mean as REAL books, not e-books or pdfs (I can't resd those)

  • @panos ·

even Asimov or Arthur C. Clarcke who HABE books of them in print, there is only a small fraction of them .The rest are out of print, too

  • @CaylaCatz ·

Very cool. I remember reading a lot of Heinlein back in the day.
