Created these for a game on X. I had previously started on this image, but it was missing something. Leaning into the stitching for her and setting the scene is what got me the rest of the way there. Sharing the original image this stemmed from on BP, there is an even further back one on PL.

About this image

A moody fantasy portrait of a pale, stitched girl in a black ruffled dress riding a white horse inside a dim, neon-lit carnival. She clutches a turquoise teddy bear as her long purple-to-blue hair streams behind her, creating an eerie, dreamlike atmosphere with rich purples and blues. This gothic, surreal artwork blends dark fantasy, cosplay-inspired styling, and cinematic lighting to evoke mystery and whimsy.

A dark fantasy digital painting of a doll-like girl with long purple hair and stitched patches on her dress and skin, cradling a distressed, patchwork teddy bear. The moody, eerie color palette of purples and blues, along with the textured stitching, creates a creepy-cute vibe and a haunting, cinematic atmosphere.

A detailed digital illustration of a doll-like gothic anime girl with long purple-blue hair, violet eyes, and a somber expression. She clutches a sewn-together teal teddy bear against a moody, rainy backdrop, with heart-shaped accents in purple and blue. The piece blends dark fantasy and cute-yet-eerie elements, using rich color contrasts and textured stitching to evoke a melancholic, whimsical mood.

Lovely. Now, waiting for that cub to spook her. 😂 That will lighten the gloomy atmosphere.
