QT: DIY plane. Sorry, @CaylaCatz. With my background in mechanics (or the total lack thereof) and my prowess with my hands (or the total lack thereof), this is about the only kind of airplane I can aspire to DIY. BTW, this is made with the new Krea 2.0 model that BP has been talking about in their promotional posts on X. Not bad!

I'm a bit of a control freak (and a perfectionist) when it comes to AI artworks. I want all details in the pix exactly as I envisioned them, so my prompts are usually the antithesis of minimalism. Sometimes they run over the word limit, and other times they just get poor AI hopelessly confused.

  • @user_google_961350 ·

I went minimalistic on this one--just told the various AI models to give me a paper plane made from a lined note sheet, and they filled in the details. Krea and GPT opted for this worn and used look, and the others mostly went for a brand-new sheet,

  • @user_google_961350 ·

In the beginning my prompt used to be rather short, but since AI tends to create little imperfections in the details or put in a version of something that is not exactly what I wanted, the prompts started to balloon out in size pretty quickly.

  • @CaylaCatz ·

yeah, I found a longer prompt often requires a higher level model like instead of GPT2 Low, I have to use GPT2 Medium. I am the opposite of you. I don't tend to have long prompts unless I'm adapting another person's prompt

  • @CaylaCatz ·

yeah, that's not my style. for me I like a little chance most of the time, not all chance but some. For a few things I don't want chance like when I'm doing a character in one of my stories

  • @user_google_961350 ·

True--Krea and GPT 2.0 both did a great job on the texture of the paper. The other models made the paper so smooth that it looked like a hard plastic surface.

  • @user_google_961350 ·

Yep, gotta have everything exactly right--sometimes down to the exact shade of green for a soldier's tunic and the amount of dirt on his boots.

  • @CaylaCatz ·

That's cool. I haven't tried tht model yet. I definitely need to take a long. It did a marvelous job on the crumpled paper plane

  • @CaylaCatz ·

that's cool. I like seeing what a minimal prompt will do too as I feel that tells me what that models default is

  • @CaylaCatz ·

well maybe not it's common sense. It has none. More like I'm good with following dream logic into strange places
