"The mysterious man checks in at the mysterious hotel." When I saw the theme, I was stumped for a while as it was something that I had rarely came across, so was clueless at first on what I wanted to present - the mysterious hotel or its guests. I eventually decided to do a visual that tells both, inspired by the John Wick movies, with just a simple check-in scene of John giving a coin to Charon. There were a lot of very outstanding entries that really gave the hotel lobby mysterious vibe as compared to mine. Was expected to be ranked around the ranks of 40s as I thought it was a little too simple, especially for people who might not get the John Wick reference. Ended up 20 out of 65, so I guess it is a win for me.
