I think so too I think aliens get a bad rap. In the movie close encounters of 3rd kind they were highly in tuned with his friends. So when his friends were yelling at him to get back and he didn't listen the aliens threw him back towards them. When his so called friends left him the aliens stepped in brought him in their space craft to help heal him. Then returned him back to Earth. That is my take on it.
