He's never met his mate but he knows she's out there. He also lives in a decopunk world so he's a mechanic who works with engines. I wanted a power ballad feel but also bluesy/jazzy. I imagine dieselpunk is bluesy/jazzy. The song came out pretty good. I would have preferred the voice be more growllly, gravelly bariton but I can live with it. Let me know what you think of it.
