Surreal anthropomorphic animal band performs live — AI art by @CaylaCatz

Entry in the Style 1 - StaticBurn theme on BudgetPixel.
On my animal musicians, cyberpunk music is set for 8/7 but cyberpunk seems a natural for @justrob StaticBurn style so I thought i'd run an experiment. justrob has said it makes a difference if the art style is in front or in back so I'm testing that too. In each pair, first justrob's art style is in front of the prompt. Second one his art style in the back of the prompt. 1. Recraft v4 (style in front) 2. Recraft v4 (style in back) 3. Grok (style in front) look at the eyes! spooky! 4. Grok (style in back) 5. GPT2 Low (style in front) analog static effect 6. GPT2 Low (style in back) more painterly to me Do you think it matters if the art style is in front or in the back? Or do you think the difference is too subtle so changes can be just attributed to seed difference rather than art style position? See the art style prompt on justrob's post: https://budgetpixel.com/p/67885

i think its the same thing ive seen before. The models usually give priority to the earlier elements of the prompt. I think what im learning now, is that for Flux 1.1 Pro - style first is important. For GPT, maybe less so. Your results will vary with the models.

yeah, hte first one doesn't look very cyberpunk but I like it. The trumpet guy is just riffing with the guitars. I love his hat tho. And the armor shirt the cat is wearing. Surprisingly modern for armor.

@CaylaCatz yeah - i tend to write and organize prompts from the flux 1.1. pro perspective, which is where i really developed my prompting language.

thank you! I did feel like gpt captured the cyberpunk vibe the best but I like Recraft's stylings

Yes, but in the first one, I still don't know what the trumpet is playing.🤔

what did you think of the differences of putting the art style in front of the prompt or the art style in the back of the prompt? Do you think it emphasized the art style was more when in front in each pair? I feel like the art style is a little more present in front but not a big difference. Except maybe the eyes in Grok.

I think maybe it's because I've noticed that with GPT, it pushes to try to incorporate everything in a prompt into the image. So it makes sense order may not matter if the model is doing it all. Other models seem to pick and choose from the prompt and not do everything -- so maybe with them order helps to prioritize what to choose.
