Triptych of a neon neural head, a dystopia/utopia signpost

QT: Illustrated haiku @justrob encouraged me to try my hand at composing haiku many moons ago. I enjoyed it and when inspired title images with haiku. That is image first, haiku second. There have been smoe challenges in which the prompt is just a haiku. For this image I had the haiku and created prompts to illustrate each line of the haiku. Should you choose to QT I'll leave the approach taken up to you. Haiku is a short poem in three lines with each line having a specific number of syllables in the words viz 5-7-5

About this image

A cinematic triptych exploring AI futures, featuring a glowing neural silhouette on the left, a central signpost labeled Dystopia and Utopia amid a ruined cityscape, and a luminous hourglass on the right. The artwork blends sci-fi imagery, cyberpunk tones, and a tense mood, inviting reflection on technology’s trajectory and time’s impact.

Very cool how we all learn from each other. Yay! Glad it's not a repeat although I really thought I had. It could be one of those things that I typed but it ended up disappearing when I checked something. That happens a lot on BP and I have to reprise my comment. And it's not AI which is good at the multi-panel -- it's you who are good at successfully prompting the AI to do so.

Thanks. It was always my sense not to self-impose a rule, for exactly that reason. This is a subject much on my mind at the moment so a bunch of ideas came together. Like the way GAI has improved so the haiku could be a part of the image.

I thought I commented but don't see it. Here goes again. Sorry if this is a repeat. Very cool! I love how you did a triptych, each panel showing a line in the haiku. That street sign image in the middle is awesome

  • @justrob ·

always good to see a haiku. I've gotten very lazy about them lately. I did them for a year - every single post. But this last month it seems to be work, rather then fun.

  • @To4kawa ·

That’s an awesome haiku. It’s really good! Unlike traditional Japanese haiku, it seems like in English it can just be a powerful short line, right? So cool!

  • @DavidP ·

Thanks, appreciate your spin on the 'good' Let's compromise and accept that my prompting and AI's intrepretation and rendering have both improved 😀

  • @DavidP ·

Thanks, not a repeat. AI pretty good at the multi-panel images now. Borrowed from your micro-fiction QT prompt to add the haiku.

  • @Sealine ·

I'm going to have to remember to try my hand a this. Yours is amazing!

Excellent haiku! Our future indeed unclear. May empathy win. (<-- Also a haiku 😉)
