Moku-zogan or Mokuzogan. It's a type of wood working I saw in Kyoto. They inlay different woods to create the effect. I saw someone use "marquetry" in a prompt which is a Western style of inlaid wood and it reminded me of mokuzogan. I couldn't remember the name as it's been years since I visited Kyoto but luckily google could figure out the word from my description. I'd been trying it out on different models. Some don't know what it is and give me back just a unicorn. Grok will give me a 5th leg on the unicorn more than half the time but otherwise the image is beautiful. Wan 2.6 is great but you have to say brown if you want more of the wood look as apparently some places also use red and black woods. Anyways it's a cool art word that can be used in prompts.

One thing I learned when I was blogging is that you can travel where you are. We have different eyes when we travel. We take nothing for granted. Look up cool places to visit. And then when we go home, we take everything for granted so we don't notice things. I thought my hometown was boring. Then I started blogging for a couple of years and I learned to pay attention. I went to streets I don't normally go to. I found some cool murals. A free museum. A wonderful old church. So many things I didn't know about and I grew up here. I found out my hometown wasn't boring. I just needed to see it like I was a tourist again. I should do that again. I need to walk more and discovery walks are fun

I wish I had more money. I'd love to travel more. When I was young I traveled a little, but I was also working so not as much as I would have liked. I got to teach English in Japan so that was fun because I got to live there. I'd try to go to different places on weekends and things. I wish I knew where all my negatives went but I lost them in one of my moves. Have you visited a lot of places in your own country?

This is especially beautiful. (Your experience in Japan must have been great. I've never travelled out of my country)

Oh, I never take my hometown (a suburb, actually) for granted> walk in it are always a marvel!

These are great experiences that you descrine, Cayla! Workinh there was a great chance for an etended stay! The things we lose in moves - don't let me get started on THIS! I admit I have not travelled as much as I would like to have done, even in my own country -but things were not good for a big chunk of my life. so...
