I was thinking it could be as simple as: “Make lyrics and a song from an image.” But I really like idea #2. I actually do something similar a lot—using Suno’s cover feature, I’ll write lyrics as a kind of reply/response to the original song.

Maybe just you and I can experiment with #2 just to see how it works out. I'd like to do it because it might be a soft way for me to learn BP's music tools. I am very used to Suno

You’ve been making so many wonderful songs. Oh, and the strings sound beautiful — I really love that.

I only know of you making music on BP. Biscuit has made a few on Suno. Elkanthe has made a number on Suno. From my perspective, while I might do a one off making music on BP, Suno is a lot better so I'd spend more time on a song over there. Right now image challenges and notificaitons are keeping me so busy that I can hardly breathe. But i am going to do the song challenge one week on and one week off. So this should be the week on and I'll be posting a menu tonight or early tomorrow. That might be one way to find people who do. That's how I found out you and Elkanthe and Biscuit made music. People are pulled in by images, just like they are for album covers. So for your songs in one of those song challenges, make an image, post the image. In the image description post your song link first and then the blog post link. And do like a short description of the song. to invite people over. That way the song shows higher than the blog post image.

@To4kawa I am trying to think of good to do a write your own song challenge. A couple ideas come to mind. 1. invite people to generate or write lyrics and make a song based on XYZ (idea, image, etc 2. invite people to do a colloborative song like the surrealists collaborative images. 1st verse and chorus is generated and that's the starter. Prompt is shown. Person 2 creates and 2nd verse and redoes the song with new 2nd verse and chorus. Must use original music style prompt. Or music style prompt can ge changed or 1 word added or subtracted to prompt. 3rd person adds 3rd verse and chorus and generates. It sounds complicated but I think it would work with a small group and be fun. Idea 3. I'm going to go through the vid models and see if anyone will let me add a uploaded sound. if i can find one, i can suggest a 5 sec or 10 sec vid with their own gen music to dance to or as background. What ideas were you thinking for a challenge format?

  I've also made a little bit of music on BP (and also on Suno). 😉 https://budgetpixel.com/p/13022 https://budgetpixel.com/p/12742 https://budgetpixel.com/p/12066 https://budgetpixel.com/p/11952 https://budgetpixel.com/p/11808 https://budgetpixel.com/p/11786 https://budgetpixel.com/p/11785 https://budgetpixel.com/p/11784
