QT Challenge: Use this prompt but change Oscar's year to any year. Try it first with the prompt. "Integrate and display the winner of Best Picture at the Oscars in March 1962. Float the text in a contrasting font over the real life location of the motion picture appeared in as the background." Swap out any year 2024 or before. You can also add art stylings. You can swap out the background image to whatever you like. I just thought the movie location would be interesting. You can try swapping out any category but "Best Picture" is pretty short so it works well. You do not have to type in the name of the movie. With luck, the AI image model will pull the correct movie. Since you are pulling older information from the web, any of the models that were listed as being able to pull a recipe in the blog post above should work: GPT 1.5 Low/Medium, SeeDream 4.5, Nano Banana, Nano Banana 2, Grok, Flux 2 Pro (probably other Flux 2 but haven't tested it). If you want to change the category to something longer than "Best Picture", the longer the category name or the longer the names of winners, the more text. The more text, the more some models can't handle it. You can link your post here too so it's easy for people to see different years or view it later. The blog post is related. Most people don't comment much on my posts so I don't foresee any problems adding links for a one-off QT. https://budgetpixel.com/blog/can-you-integrate-web-info-into-an-ai-image @Biscuit @chris70 @DavidP @dirty_biker @elkanthe @EternaSky @faerierealm @fantasydesignink @gummiefish @Helen_h01 @Hephzibah @justrob @notyourcleo @panos @Sealine @SkarletFever @southamericanmyth @TheBard @To4kawa @TTRPG_Player @mim86 @Hiths @Troxley @winter_witch

Brilliant. I've never seen it but reckon the background is spot on from what I know
The buildings look a lot like they did in the movie. It was more the clothes. Not the 2 front people. they had a more early 1960s vibe. I was surprised that AI made a crowded scene (which I hear NYC is very crowded. I've only ever seen this many people gathered when there is a parade about to happen). Other BG scenes for the oscars were town/city scenes but no people. I still don't think AI does a lot of people well but it's much much better than before. You have to look much harder to find the mutants in this one.

Thanks for inviting me to this QT challenge! I remember the piece you made for it – it’s kind of “on the nose,” but in the best way. It looks awesome! I’m going to make my own image for it next. At first I was thinking of doing “Cats” for you, but then I realized… that’s not an Oscar winner 😂 Also, how about we make some music from this image together? Do you know anyone on BP who’s doing music stuff?
Yeah, I think from pictures it does look like NYC tenements. Seems more crowded and grungier here tho. Definitely gives the West Side Story vibe but the NYC scene seems more updated than the 60s. Early 60s women weren't wearing pants that much and the background women are.

No, I only use a phone when away from home. Otherwise on a PC with a decent, though not high-end monitor. The styling of the buildings does create a particular vibe as well as fashions and cars. Not time-placed for the film, I think

Guess as is often my way I was zoomed out taking in the overall impression, rather than drilling into all the fine detail
0.0 will give it a whirl when i get time around
it's cool. I think it was bugging me it looks so 1970s I think or 80s. I think you look on the phone too? I bought a big tv screen on sale a while ago and use that as my monitor. I'm just not used to the reality vibe. I usually do a more stylized thing but I was more focused on making a prompt that worked with pulling info from the web and was easy to read so people could use it and tweak it. The image is good, just not my style so it bothers me a little, you know.
