Leonie looks at the clock and gets up. She takes Theresa's hand and gently pulls the pianist towards her. "I hate leaving," she murmurs quietly into the tender kiss. Her voice betrays her frustration. Theresa closes her lips on her manager's again. "I promise you, I will leave him," she whispers quietly, "because I love you, my darling." Another kiss follows, then the women hear the front door slam shut. Ronald is back - far too soon, it seems to Leonie. She only reluctantly breaks away from the kiss. "See you tomorrow, my darling," she says before leaving the piano room.
