Lyrics: Thursday's Sun Light

[Intro][Inst] [Verse 1] I woke up with a Monday heart on a Thursday morning Sky is clear, but the weight in my chest keeps forming Coffee’s cold, but the Sun light’s warm on my skin Every shadow on the sidewalk says, “start again” [Pre-Chorus] I’ve been running in circles in yesterday’s rain But your rhythm in my headphones cuts through the strain [Chorus] Now the Sun light breaks in my room, chasing all the blue away Every beam is singing, “you’ll be okay” I was stuck in a Blue Monday, but you turned the sky to gold On this Thursday, I feel my tired heart unfold [Verse 2] I’ve been living like a low gray cloud over this city Watching people on the street move fast, forget so pretty But the skyline’s glowing orange, and the breeze feels new All the colors come back when I think of you [Pre-Chorus 2] I was drowning in thunder that never would start Then your melody echoed and rewired my heart [Chorus] Now the Sun light breaks in my room, chasing all the blue away Every beam is singing, “you’ll be okay” I was stuck in a Blue Monday, but you turned the sky to gold On this Thursday, I feel my tired heart unfold [Bridge] Storms in my mind, they were spinning like a hurricane Lightning in my chest, every breath was just another strain But you opened up the curtains, let the clear sky through Now every ray of Sun light spells out, “I found you” [Break / Spoken] Clear sky, no more static in my head Sunrise colors painting over all the words I never said If tomorrow brings the rain, I’ll still remember this light ’Cause on this Thursday, you turned my wrongs to right [Final Chorus] Now the Sun light breaks in my room, chasing all the blue away Every beam is singing, “you’ll be okay” I was stuck in a Blue Monday, but you turned the sky to gold On this Thursday, I feel my tired heart unfold Now the Sun light writes on my walls, every shadow fades from view All the clouds are disappearing when I walk with you If I fall back into Monday, drowning in the dark again I’ll just wait for Thursday’s Sun light calling out my name

Wow! This is really different from the Suno version. Did you do a new version? Was this done on BP or Suno. I like the lyrics/structure better on Suno but I like the way the voices switch back and forth in this version so it feels like a girl band with 3 or 4 girls singing and get to do their own lines. Both of them are cool. they just have different vibes.

I just wrote a blog post about it—take a look if you have a moment. If you’re used to Suno, it might feel a bit “huh?” at first, but the sound and the way it behaves are definitely different.

Ok, will do. not right now tho. I have a couple images I need to get done and then sleep. But I will read it tomorrow night.

This one is Music 2.5. The vocals feel a bit too packed/too dense, so I’ve been experimenting with a bunch of different approaches.

  • @To4kawa ·

Thank you. I still feel like I have quite a few challenges with Music 2.5.

  • @CaylaCatz ·

    That's very interesting. I haven't used Music 2.5
