Kitchen Sink Prompt : D is for ... Today's prompt: decodence, daedalist damsel, dusty denim, dusky damask, dapatical dhole, decadent dragon, drawing daguerreotype, deliquescent dyeing, dreamlike dieselpunk, dynamic, distressed What can I say? I love words. They are so much fun. @paulie does a tautogram prompt challenge which is creating a prompt of up to 20 words starting with the same letter. I try to find some new words or combinations to create some new. This is a tautogram prompt that uses all words starting with D. Plus I learned some new words. As I've said previously, in a kitchen sink prompt, some models will pull out a few words to focus on. Others models will try to get it all in. As we look at some of the words, I'll show the images with the above prompt that best fits the vocabulary defined. As in my last kitchen prompt blog, you will see the images vary widely. model: grok (today's kitchen sink prompt featuring d words) dieselpunk & decodence dieselpunk : retrofuturistic but in a later time period than steampunk. It basically starts after WWI and goes through to WWII, although some push it through to the 1950s. It is based on diesel technology rather than steam technology. It is darker and more noir than steampunk. model: wan 2.6 (one word prompt: dieselpunk, seed 202723772) decodence : a term coined by folks engaged in dieselpunk worlds. Dieselpunk often has a Art Deco and jazz era ambiance and that feel is embodied by decodence. In terms of using it with AI models, some will understand it and give you some Art Deco elements without making everything Art Deco. Some AI models will think you misspelled "decadence" and you will get a decadent vibe and not an Art Deco vibe. An example to show how decodence might show up in an image. Look at the airship. Model : grok (prompt: daedalist damsel, dhole, dieselpunk, decodence) daedalist damsel daedalist : this word is archaic so it's not used much. Most recently it's been defined as someone who flies like an aviator, pilot or astronaut. Previously it was defined as someone who is ingenious, inventive like Daedelus (the guy who made wings to fly to the sun). The way it works with AI models: it can go either way as a pilot, an inventor or it'll just ignore it because it doesn't know what it means, lol. Note: daedalist here is someone who flies. Model : Nano-Banana (today's kitchen sink prompt featuring d words) Note: daedalist is portrayed as an inventor here. Model: Flux 2 Flex (today's kitchen sink prompt featuring d words) damsel : young woman. All AI models understand damsel is a young woman. damask : a reversible, jacquard-woven fabric featuring intricate, tone-on-tone patterns. You can see it on her corset above. dusky : as an ajective for colors, it will make the color muted. So instead of bright pink, a dusky pink will be a muted darker almost rose color. Instead of bright purple, you will get a muted color as in the corset above. I'd say the middle jacket is damask. Model: Z-image-turbo (today's kitchen sink prompt featuring d words) dusty : as an adjective fabric or whatever will be covered in dust or dirt denim : denim fabric Denim that's dusty. model : P-image (today's kitchen sink prompt featuring d words) Dirty denim overalls. model : Wan 2.6 (today's kitchen sink prompt featuring d words) dapatical dhole dapatical : sumptuous, lavish. Archaic so some models understand it and some don't. If they do, they will add a few details that feel rich like the dog's ornamental collar above and her silk robe. dhole : an Asian wild dog. decadent dragon decadent : self-indulgent, loving good food, rich desserts, luxurious goods. Also corrupt, low morals. How this word gets interpreted by AI models depends on the scene. You can use it for a rich creamy dessert, luxurious fabrics or goods, a diva or a thief. I think it tends to add details that are more indulgent and luxurious . dragon : you know this one I'd say this scene has dapatical and decadent details with the lavish velvet curtains and all the lace in her outfit. model : gpt 1.5 low (today's kitchen sink prompt featuring d words) drawing daguerreotype drawing: you know this one. It's just sketching a picture. This image emphasized a drawing style. Model: Flux 2 dev (today's kitchen sink prompt featuring d words) This image featured a drawing. Sometimes you have to hold them at a slant to see the photograph. Below is a photograph of a real daguerreotype from wikimedia. I didn't think any of the images demonstrated the deliquescent melting quality so I thought I'd show it with this divan Model : Wan 2.6 (two word prompt: deliquescent divan, seed 202723772) dyeing : you know this one. basically soaking something like fabric in a color liquid to make the fabric that color this wall looks like it is streaked with dye. Model: Flux 2 flex (today's kitchen sink prompt featuring d words) dynamic, distressed dynamic: powerful, full of energy distressed : in a person, they might be stressed out. For clothes and things, it is often worn out and falling apart. Because distressed denim has been fashionable off and on, some of the images showed distressed denim You can see the distressed denim here. With kitchen sink prompts, what I usually do later is pick out a few words or phrases to use again. So play around with the words and see what you can make with them.
