**Guess who?** --- Perhaps not totally in the inktober spirit. But I did draw the original, back in 2004. I'd been taking art lessons and did this at home while waiting to start a new job. Now I shall give it some thought and maybe get fully into the spirit and draw something fresh. SHould be fun, but need some subject inspiration

tvm. I was pleased with this as I drew it home, without the teachers support. He's one of my favourite artists of all time. And coincidentally I just learned he realised his 50th studio album last month

Thanks very much. Appreciate that. You are on the money with your guesswork. I forget actually when the picture I used as a reference was shot, but most likely the 70s. And he is a legend - Neil Young.

I'm thinking of a 1970s musician. I know how you love guitar players so my guess is it's a legendary guitar player. --- Very cool! --- yeah it counts because you drew it. If you want to draw fresh drawings to prompts, there's the inktober page https://inktober.com/rules and that's daily. But there are other drawing prompt pages out there. Some people put out weekly ones for folks who don't have time to draw daily or want to take longer on one sketch. I just know the inktober site from my blogging days when he used to have a blog.
