Entry in the Human Origami challenge.

About this image

This hyper-detailed origami artwork depicts a wise regal king entirely constructed from crisp folded paper in warm beige, soft gold, and muted dusty blue tones. Sharp geometric facets form every part of his face, beard, star crown, and layered robes, with floating origami cranes and polyhedra filling the background. The mood is quiet, stately, and deeply intricate, showcasing masterful paper craft design.

It's just too hard to predict what will do well. Voters are often good with flaws that are so obvious to me and my favorite entries I see if voting often don't make top 10.

me too... guess I should refrain from being too arty farty. the cranes were the best done here compared to my other ones where the cranes were crabby

Very intricate and detailed. Not the most dynamic but I expected it to place higher.
