She'd been tracking her bounty for days but the sucker was fast for a troll. Now, Groog was in sight. Neither one of them noticed the faint purple glimmer of an open fae portal. The Forest Regent’s court had grown careless; their Queen craved mortal coffee, especially the rarest brews from exclusive micro‑roasters. Courtiers were dispatched often on a whim to nab a brew. Groog’s luck faltered, tripping on a boulder.Alyce skidded to a halt. Both lifted their gazes—and froze. A colossal stone face loomed above them: Seattle's Aurora Bridge Troll. Groog said, "Whoa!
