The scene uses moody lighting, jagged stalactites, and mossy rocks to create a tense, horror-inspired atmosphere perfect for dark fantasy fans and game art collections.
A vivid fantasy illustration of a goblin-style character emerging from a rocky cave, holding a carved axe and wearing shaggy fur. The scene is lit with warm cave light and eerie blue magic wisps, creating a mischievous, adventurous mood. This digital concept art suits fantasy games, character design portfolios, and storytelling in dark, mythical environments.
A sinister goblin lurks in a moonlit forest, gripping a jagged wooden club as glowing mushrooms illuminate the mossy ground. This fantasy creature scene uses dark, moody tones and high-detail textures to evoke menace, folklore-inspired design, and magical woodland atmosphere.

I did not say, Google got it right 😉 ... what is what, depends on the culture or language I guess ... some refer to Tolkien, but Tolkien also used a lot from nordic myths and in DnD it's again different. For example in the Hobbit movie, the "Goblin-King" got translated to "Ork-König" for the film synchronization ... which is quite stupid, when there are Orks in the movie and they are obviously not the same as Goblins.

Woa!!!!! Models recognized it in Greek??!!!!!! Well, Καλικαντζαροι (plural, the word of the prompt is singular) are identified with Christmas!! In greek folklore, they are mischievous creatures, living underground, that get on the surface during the Christmas period to do all sort of mischief: Get into houses, eat all the christmas pastries, mess up the presents, piss in the hearth, stuff like that. They return undeground on the 6th of January, Epiphany Day, chased by priests, who on that day go around houses sprinkling holy water - in memory of Jesus's Baptism. In their underground abodes, they get an unpleasant surprise: The roots of the Tree of Life is there (Famous World-Tree in all cultures) which they hit with axes all year long until only a sliver remains, at which point they go up to the surface. Well, returning, the find the Tree magicaly restored and they start all over again, until next year's Christmas. So, in Greece, Kallikantzaroi = Christmas!

Is that what they are in English? I didn't know. That's cool. Copilot gave me Kallikantzaros among ohers when I asked for creatures that start with K. I said to panos and he gave me the greek spelling. I couldn't resist trying it out as a one-word prompt.
I've never heard of them. The Tree of Life element is also quite cool. You all put up with them to give the Tree of Life time to heal. It's hard to heal when someone keeps chipping away at you
I think it's cool to try words from different languges. A lot of times the AI gives it a different flavor than the same word in English even if you have the same seed.

I let Google translate the word ... when it's transalted to German, it gives me "Kobold", when translated to English, it gives me "Goblin" ... I think some look like nordic trolls. 😁
Wow! Ork-König and Orks. Yeah, I agree. Someone should have caught that and changed it during translation to something else.
Okay, anyway, one thing is for sure: we're all learning a lot with these QTs! Awesome!! 👍👍👍👍👍 Thanks @TheBard @CaylaCatz & all
Thank you. It's fun to see how an AI handles different languages.
