The last lighthouse keeper made his weary way home with his harvest of bottled moonlight, enough to keep the lighthouse lit for another century. The Goddess Seshat watched over this secret island. Her favorite place where she collected lost libraries or those places of knowledge she saved before they went up in flames. Very few ever found this place. A dangerous quest could lead the adventurous here but then they could never leave. The Goddess Seshat didn't just collect libraries; she collected librarians too. --- According to google: Seshat (Ancient Egypt) — The "Mistress of the House of Books". Her name literally translates to "Female Scribe," and she was revered as the ultimate celestial librarian. The Role: She held the official epithet "Mistress of the House of Books" because she was the patroness of earthly libraries, scriptoriums, and text collections. She was believed to preserve all mortal writings in a massive celestial library. The Duties: Beyond just protecting books, she was the goddess of cataloging, mathematics, accounting, and architecture. She recorded the timelines of pharaohs' reigns and kept tracking logs of royal assets. The Iconography: She was uniquely depicted wearing a leopard-skin dress (the traditional attire of high-ranking priests) and a mysterious seven-pointed star headdress topped by a crescent bow.
